This is a theoretical design. I had never designed this time period before (turn of the century) and I learned a lot about silhouettes, trims and HATS. Designing the Lady’s dresses were by far the most fun. I went with a bright, very flamboyant theme given the light hearted nature of the play.
The wife of Don Carlos and best friend to Raymond.
Victor’s wife and best friend to Lucienne. Her suspicions of her husband create the main action of the play.

These are the nice clothes that she wears to the establishment of ill repute to meet her string of lovers.
