Outdoorsman’s Harness
I built this piece as part of a school curriculum on leather work. My brother was enjoying his backpack holster that I had made him previously but decided he might like something to wear while hiking without a backpack. Apart from a pistol, he also owns a shot gun and thought some cartridge loops might be in order. So I set to work making this beauty for his birthday. I must say its some of the prettiest work I have ever done.

My Brother Wearing Final Product
Ergonomic Straps.
Notice the even stitching and the burned edge. I had to do the burned edge technique before stitching but it really makes that yellow thread pop.
Front View
Here you can get a good look at the shotgun cartridge loops. Naturally on the left shoulder because my brother shoots right-handed (butt of the rifle in his right shoulder).

Right Draw Holster
This beauty is my favorite holster to date. Beautiful in its simplicity. The burned edge look is actually achieved with an air brush with a darker brown/black.
Initials
On the inside of the harness is stamped my brother’s initials.

Rivet Closeup
These rivets have little stars on them. Fun little detail only the owner and I would notice.
Right Side View
This side has been left blank should he ever wish to add a knife or hatched to the ensemble
