Pre Undergraduate Artwork

2006-2010

I didn’t really start to get good at art until I was in 9th grade. Oh I was probably ahead of the curve in most respects but I didn’t start REALLY training myself until then. I had some amazing art teachers, Mr. Nolan and Mrs. Loureiro, in middle school who gave me NO quarter when it came to my art. I Learned so much and really started to make significant progress. To this day I think I made the largest leaps artistically during this time in my life. I devoured anatomy books, copied just about anything I could from the masters and I never let myself believe any piece of art was perfect. This is the point in my life where I think I came to the realization that the enemy of good art/craftsmanship is impatience. I learned to be methodical and deliberate. So I hope you enjoy this part of my journey.
